Who are eligible for this competition?

Hello debaters,
Here, we are glad to inform you the criteria of the debaters who are eligible for the 2nd National Newbie Debating Competition. Due to the frequently asked question that is delivered by some of you, we will make it clearer especially regarding the definition of the national competitions you've participated in.

What we mean by national competitions are competitions that meet these criteria:

1. It is participated by 15 teams at minimum from different institutions/region.
2. It is held consistently. It means that the competitions are held regularly for instance, anually.

Some of the instances of the competitions that meet these criteria are: IVED, JOVED, ALSA UI, BAWOR CUP, ALSA UNPAD, Fouders Trophy and of course, NNDC 2012.

Therefore, if you find yourself ever join any debate competitions that meet with this criteria and your teams were breaking on that competitions main category, you are no longer eligible.

Added to this, if you were breaking but in Novice Category, you'll still be accepted. However, we do not allow the teams who were breaking into SEMIFINAL Novice Category in that competition to register in 2nd NNDC 2013.
